Who We Are
Founder and CEO
John Longfield-Smith is a 25 year veteran of correctional healthcare. He has led small and large teams delivering care to local, State, and Federal facilities. He has also been involved in the development of several IT solutions that improve care and reduce expenses through automation and the effective use of technology.
John is driven by the desire to be a true partner in his clients’ success. His approach to helping his clients is to focus on the "Four Legs of the Stool" - Streamlining operations, reducing costs, improving clinical outcomes, and mitigating risks. He believes in service beyond expectation, which is achieved through a consistent devotion to anticipating and fulfilling evolving client needs.
In 2013, John founded JLS Family Enterprises, his second back-office support company for the correctional healthcare market. He sold that company and accepted the position of SVP of Payer Solutions at the largest provider of correctional healthcare services in the country, where he had oversight of three divisions: Network Development, Claims Processing, and Federal Prison Services.
Previously John held the position of Director of Health Information Technology at Gulf South Medical Supply and McKesson, where his focus on customers, innovation, improved operational efficiency, and execution led to significant growth.
